6), 0.1472 ACRE OF LAND, REPLAT OF LOTS 15 AND 16, RESERVATION 6, CITY
OF PORT ARTHUR, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS (PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH
OF WEST 10TH STREET AND WEST OF GRANNIS AVENUE).

BACKGROUND:
The Planning and Zoning Commission is being asked to consider a replat request for the
following:
Replat of: All of Lots 15 and 16, Reservation 6
New Tract Name(s): Tract 15-A (Reservation 6)
Lot Dimensions: 50’ x 128’ (6,400 SF)
Total Acreage: 0.1472 Acre of Land
Property Address
(Proposed): 1033 Grannis Avenue
Zoning: “2F” Two Family
Abutting Zoning: North/South/West: “2F” Two Family
East: “HC” Heavy Commercial
Purpose of replat:
To combine two (2) Lots into one (1) Tract for the
construction of a new residential structure (home) under
the Hurricane IKE Disaster Recovery Program – Round 2.
On Thursday, March 24, 2016, twenty-three (23) notices were mailed to adjacent property
owners within a 200 ft. radius and the notice was published in the Port Arthur News on Sunday,
March 20, 2016; more than ten (10) days prior to the P&Z public hearing scheduled for April
4, 2016.
