DATE: 03/29/2016 BACKGROUND: The Planning and Zoning Commission is being asked to consider a replat request for the following: Replat of: All of Lots 15 and 16, Reservation 6 New Tract Name(s): Tract 15-A (Reservation 6) Lot Dimensions: 50’ x 128’ (6,400 SF) Total Acreage: 0.1472 Acre of Land Property Address (Proposed): 1033 Grannis Avenue Zoning: “2F” Two Family Abutting Zoning: North/South/West: “2F” Two Family East: “HC” Heavy Commercial Purpose of replat: To combine two (2) Lots into one (1) Tract for the construction of a new residential structure (home) under the Hurricane IKE Disaster Recovery Program – Round 2. On Thursday, March 24, 2016, twenty-three (23) notices were mailed to adjacent property owners within a 200 ft. radius and the notice was published in the Port Arthur News on Sunday, March 20, 2016; more than ten (10) days prior to the P&Z public hearing scheduled for April 4, 2016.
