INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM
Office of the Finance Department
Date: January 10, 2017
To: Brian McDougal, City Manager
From: Jerry W. Dale, Finance Director
RE: Transit Budget Amendment
Nature of the request: Requiring additional funding to pay SIMCO Enterprises, LTD
for the completion of a parking lot at Transit. The project is 100% funded through
--TXDOT Project-Grant Agreement Section 3339- Federal Bus-and Bus Facilities " ••
Program. Although funding is available, a formal appropriation adjusting the Transit
Fund budget is required.
Staff Analysis, Considerations: It was been determined that an appropriation
ordinance to cover the cost must be submitted for the City Council to approve.
Recommendation: The attached Proposed Ordinance does just that and we are
recommending that the City Council approve it as presented.
Budget Considerations: As shown.
