Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 551 of the
Government Code that a possible quorum of the
City Council of The City of Port Arthur, Texas
may be attending a Community Meeting to discuss
the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Port Arthur hosted
by the Planning Department and Freese and Nichols. The
event will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 6:00 PM
at the Robert A. Bowers Civic Center, 3401 Cultural Center
Drive, Port Arthur, Texas, 77642.
This is not the regularly scheduled meeting of the City
Council, but this notice is being posted in compliance with
the Texas Open Meetings Act. As a governmental body, the
City Council will not deliberate, take any formal action on
any items discussed, nor will there be meeting minutes for
this notice.
