SURVEY NO. 121, ABSTRACT NO. 250, AND T. & N.O.R.R. SURVEY NO. 122 (M. BROUSSARD SURVEY), ABSTRACT NO. 486 [A.K.A. 2350 S. GULFWAY DRIVE], PORT ARTHUR,JEFFERSON COUNTY,TEXAS Z17-07 [SUP# 2301 WHEREAS, the applicant — GT Logistics, LLC, are requesting that the City of Port Arthur consider granting a Specific Use Permit for approximately 18.087 acres of land and water consisting of Tracts 1, 2, and 3 out of the T. & N.O.R.R. Survey No. 121, Abstract No. 250 and T. &. N.O.R.R. Survey No. 122 (M. Broussard Survey), Abstract No. 486 [A.K.A. 2350 S. Gulfway Drive] in Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas for the construction of bulk liquids handling and storage/marine facilities in an Industrial (I)zoned district, as delineated in Exhibit"A"; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, a public hearing must precede any zoning change; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR: THAT the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. THAT the Planning and Zoning Commission will review this case on April 17, 2017. THAT a public hearing to consider whether to grant this applicant a specific use permit for approximately 18.087 acres of land and water consisting of Tracts 1, 2, and 3 out of the T. & N.O.R.R. Survey No. 121, Abstract No. 250 and T. &. N.O.R.R. Survey No. 122 (M. Broussard Survey),Abstract No.486[A.K.A.2350 S.Gulfway Drive] in Port Arthur,Jefferson County, Texas as delineated in Exhibit "A" shall be held on May 9, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, Fifth Floor, City Hall, 444 Fourth Street.
