A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER AND/OR MEMBERS AND AN ALTERNATE AND/OR ALTERNATES TO THE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT CONTRACT COMPLIANCE COMMITTEE WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 15-219, the Port Arthur City Council created the Industrial District Contract Compliance Committee; and WHEREAS, the purpose of the Industrial District Contract Compliance Committee is to attend the quarterly meetings between the City of Port Arthur and those entities who are associated with the City via an Industrial District Agreement and report back to the City Council; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 17-038, the current members of Committee are the City Attorney, the City Manager; and his designees on staff, Councilmember Swati, Councilmember Albright, and Councilmember Scott, and three (3) alternates that consists of Councilmember Moses, Councilmember Richard and Councilmember Lewis. WHEREAS, Councilmember Albright, member, and Councilmember Richard, alternate, terms have expired on the City Council, and it is necessary to appoint a member and an alternate to the Industrial District Contract Compliance Committee. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. s.pr19793 Section 2. That Councilmember is appointed as the member, and Councilmember is appointed as the alternate. Section 3. That the Industrial District Contract Compliance Committee will consist of the City Attorney, the City Manager and his designees on staff, Councilmember Swati, Councilmember Scott, and Councilmember . That the Industrial District Contract Compliance Committee will contain three (3) alternates that will consist of Councilmember Moses, Councilmember Lewis and Councilmember . Section 4. That the purpose of the Industrial District Contract Compliance Committee will be to attend the quarterly meetings between the City of Port Arthur and those entities who are associated with the City via Industrial District Agreements and report back to the City Council to facilitate the future negotiation of said agreements. Section 5. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution shall be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
