It is more cost effective to replace the entire unit. This was an emergency which required corrections as soon as possible. However, there was no immediate threat to the health and welfare of our citizens, but the conditions were so uncomfortable that mistakes could possibly be made due to a lack of concentration by the operators, because of the heat. The Utilities Department is seeking ratification of replacement of the chiller unit through ABM Building Services, LLC of Houston, Texas. ABM Building Services, LLC of Houston, Texas submitted a buyboard quote, #552-17, of$44,472.00. Funding is available in Water Utilities 0 & M Budget, Account No. 410-1252-532.32-00, Building Maintenance. Staff Analysis, Considerations: None. Budtiet Considerations: This project will be charged to Water Utilities 0 & M Budget, Account No. 410-1252-532.32- 00, Building Maintenance.
