R. # 20894 Introduction: The intent of this Agenda Item is to seek the City Council's approval for the execution and submittal of the Project Completion report to the Texas General Land Office for the Hurricane Ike Round 2.2 Community Development Block Grant—Disaster Recovery(CDBG-DR) contract DRS220148. Background: Resolution number 13-269 authorized a grant agreement between the City of Port Arthur and the Texas General Land Office(GLO) for the Texas Community Development Block Grant Round 2.2 funding Disaster Recovery Program in the amount of$10,301,777 for the following infrastructure improvement projects: 1. Elevated Storage Tank 2. Bluebonnet Avenue Street Reconstruction 3. West 7th Street Reconstruction 4. 19`" Street Reconstruction 5. West 8th Street Reconstruction 6. Woodworth Boulevard Drainage 7. Demolition/Clearance Phase 1 8. Demolition/Clearance Phase 2 9. Clearance/Demolition Phase 1 Environmental Assessment The projects are completed and the GLO contract will be closed by June 30, 2019. The Project Completion report is required prior to closing the grant. Budget Impact: Hurricane Ike Round 2.2 Community Development Block Grant—Disaster Recovery Grant— DRS220148.
