A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND/OR REAPPOINTING A DIRECTOR OR DIRECTORS TO THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR SECTION 4A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (REQUESTED MAYOR BARTIE) WHEREAS, the City of Port Arthur Section 4A Economic Development Corporation was created by Ordinance No. 96-08; and WHEREAS, the term of office is three years; and WHEREAS, the following persons are the current directors for the City of Port Arthur Section 4A Economic Development Corporation: WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.03 of the City of Port Arthur Section 4A Economic Development Corporation bylaws, Directors shall be appointed by the respective councilmembers whose position corresponds to the position for which the appointment is made; and Director Position: Term Expires: Position 1 Rev. Darrell Anderson June 6, 2020 Position 2 Eli Roberts May 31, 2019 Position 3 Christopher Smith December 19, 2020 Position 4 Kenneth Marks July 26, 2019 Position 5 Richard Wycoff June 6, 2020 Position 6 Warren Pena February 14, 2020 Position 7 Dallas Smith June 6, 2020 Position 8 Ingrid Holmes June 6, 2020 Mayor Jerry LaBove December 13, 2019 (unexpired term) s.pr21207 WHEREAS, Mayor Bartie's appointment, Jerry LaBove, term expired on December 13, 2019, and Mayor Bartie appoints Rhonda Conner as Director. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2. That this resolution will document said appointment for the purpose of the public record, and verifies that the following persons are the Directors for the City of Port Arthur Sections 4A Economic Development Corporation: Director Position: Term Expires: Position 1 Rev.
