Purpose: To inform citizens and businesses of the efforts that the City and region are making to improve drainage and to hear citizens’ other concerns on drainage matters.
Other jurisdictions have been invited to participate. We have with us today Ms. Rhonda Masters with the Texas General Land Office indicating support for the symposium. Other confirmed
participants will be Jefferson County and Drainage District No. 7.
A packet with more information on the symposium was delivered to each of your mailboxes.
We are asking all to visit the City’s website to register and view the flyer.
Information from the symposium will be gathered and used in the development of regional mitigation projects for the application of CDBG-Disaster Recovery grants.
