A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCCEPTANCE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 648 FOURTH STREET (OLD MARITIME BUILDING) FROM .THE PORT ARTHUR HISTORICAL SOCIETY WHEREAS, the Board of Directors for the Port Arthur Historical Society voted' to donate the property located at 648 Fourth Street to the City of Port Arthur as denoted in Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Port Arthur that the City accept the donation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2. That the City Manager is herein authorized to accept the donation from the Port Arthur Historical Society of the property at 648 Fourth Street (Old Maritime Building) in substantially the same form as attached hereto as Exhibit "B" Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
