OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR
otice is hereby given in accordance with the revised Civil Statutes and
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Port Arthur that the City Council of
the City of Port Arthur will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 11,
2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Port Arthur City Hall Council Chamber, 444 4tn
Street, to consider the following:

REQUEST:
The applicant is requesting that the property located at 6711 West Port Arthur Road be
rezoned from Light Commercial to Heavy Commercial for a parking lot for dump trucks.
BACKGROUND:
The applicant proposes to park dump trucks at this location.
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning and Zoning Commission met on Monday, February 4, 2008 and considered
this request. They recommended that this request be denied.
