WATSON, DIItECTOR OF PLANNING ~21/ SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Z08-06 (WOODY'S BAR AND GRILL) DATE: 03/20/08 REQUEST: The applicant is requesting a Specif c Use Permit for aTavern/Lounge at 8484 Central Mall Dr. BACKGROUND: The applicant is currently operating at this location under a Food and Beverage Certificate from the Texas Alcoholic and Beverage Commission. This requires that a minimum of 51% of their sales.be from food. They are not meeting this requirement. To operate as a Tavem/Lounge requires a Specific Use Permit. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Planning and Zoning Commission met on Monday, February 18, 2008 to consider this request. They recommended that the request be approved.
