We recommend that the City Council award the bid for annual purchase of Streets materials -
CONCRETE BUILDING MATERIALS to Transit Mix Concrete 8r Materials Co. as listed below. These
materials will be utilized by the Public Works Department, Streets Divisiori for street maintenance, the.
City Streets Program, and streets funded under the CDBG program. These bids will be in effect for
approximately one (1) year.
BACKGROUND:
These. are annual contracts for CONCRETE BUILDING MATERIALS that will. be used by the streets
Division for maintenance and construction.
Bids were received and opened for these materials on April 23, 2008. Bids were received as shown in
the table below.
