RESOLIITION NO.
A RESOLIITION AIITHORIZING THE PIIRCHASING
DIVISION TO ADVERTISE FOR THS SALE OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 648 4TH STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public interest to
advertise for the sale of land at 648 4th Street in an "as is"
condition and with a Special Warranty Deed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ARTHIIR:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are
true and correct.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the
Purchasing Division to advertise for the sale of the land located
at 698 4th Street (Old Maritime Building site), being more
particularly described as follows:
Lot Number Twelve (12) in Block Number One Hundred
Fifty-One (151) of City of Port Arthur, Jefferson
County, Texas, as the same appears upon the map
or plat thereof, on file and of record in Vol. 1,
Page 50, Map Records of Jefferson County, Texas,
Save and Except the North Twenty Feet (N. 20')
which was conveyed to Urban Renewal Agency of Port
Arthur by Deed recorded in Vol. 1561 Page 127 Deed
Records of Jefferson County, Texas. (648 4th Street)
Section 3. That the property be sold in its "as is"
condition and with a Special Warranty Deed with such conditions
that the new purchasers must maintain the property in accordance
with City Code.

Section 4. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be
spread upon the Minutes of the Corporation.
READ, ADOPTED AND APPROVED on this day of
A.D., 2008, at a Meeting of the City Council of
