Additionally, contribution to the school’s STEM initiative to purchase 3-D printers resulted in students making COVID face masks for first responders and teachers •New joint degree program with local high school –Wilson Early College High School and Lamar State College –Port Arthur graduated 90 students with their high school diploma and two-year Associates degree from college •Scholarship awards through partnerships with NAACP, 100+ Black Coalition, LSCPA and Port Arthur Education Foundation Environmental Stewardship Emergency Preparedness & Safety Education - STEM Port Arthur Community Impact “Road for the Future” project •Relocating ~3.5 miles of Texas State Highway 87 •~ $140 million investment •Consolidating pipelines, including upgrading City of Port Arthur’s waterline •Spent more than $38 million locally to procure materials & services with over 30 local vendors •To -date on the project – completed over 1.2 million work hours with 0 loss-time incidents 6 Economic Prosperity 7 ▪COVID and Hurricane Relief & Recovery ➢Sempra Energy & Sempra Energy Foundation made contributions to nonprofits serving Jefferson & Orange Counties ➢A total of $350,000 was awarded ▪Season of Giving Community Partners Spotlight Series ➢For the holidays, PALNG partnered with Port Arthur News to highlight local nonprofits ➢Feature stories can be found on the PALNG website: https://portarthurlng.com/newsroom/ Grace Hub Inc | United Board of Missions | Linda’s Lighthouse |Port Arthur Police Blue Santa | Girl Scouts of San Jacinto | Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas Other Activities 2020 Investments 8 Careers at Sempra & Port Arthur LNG •Launched a new PALNG Employee Spotlight Series •Online video series that features some of the Sempra LNG employees who are working in support of the PALNG project •Foundation for opportunities at the company Meet the Team ➢Marvin Ivey, Senior Project Director.
