RECOMMENDATION
We recommend the City Council award the bid for the Furnishing and Installation of Two Overhead
Rolling Doors to Overhead Door Company of Beaumont, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas in the total
amount of $5,758.
BACKGROUND
These doors will replace two existing overhead doors, which were originally installed during the
expansion of the Main WWTP facility in 1984. Currently, these doors are badly deteriorated and are

Funds for these items are appropriated in the current operating budget accounts no. 410-1256-532.92
at $5,000, reflecting a negative balance of $758. Savings on other capital equipment already
purchased this budget year will offset the overrun.
