RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR
SECTION 4A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO REPLACE THE AIR
CONDITIONING EVAPORATOR COIL AND HIGH AND LOW
PRESSURE SENSORS AT 501 PROCTER STREET BY NANCE
COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL HVAC&R SERVICES OF BEAUMONT,
TEXAS FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $23,940.00; FUNDS
AVAILABLE IN EDC ACCOUNT NO. 120-80-625-5312-00-00-000
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it is the public interest to authorize the City of
Port Arthur Section 4A Economic Development Corporation (the "PAEDC") to replace the
air conditioning evaporator coil and high and low pressure sensors at 501 Procter Street,
Port Arthur, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Nance Commercial & Industrial HVAC&R Services of Beaumont, Texas
has provided the attached proposal (Exhibit "A") for the replacement of the evaporator
coil & high and low pressure sensors; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for this proposal will not exceed $23,940.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That the PAEDC is herein authorized to use Nance Commercial &
Industrial HVAC&R Services for the replacement of evaporator coil & high and low
pressure sensors for an amount not to exceed $23,940.00 as detailed on the proposal
attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and
Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the
Minutes of the City Council.
READ, ADOPTED AND APPROVED on this day of A.D., 2021, at
a Meeting of the City Council of the City of Port Arthur, Texas, by the following vote:

Nance International Inc.appreciates the opportunity to offer the following proposal.We pride ourselves in providing our customers
with quality products, installations,and service.
Nance International Inc.furnishes the following proposal:
• Replacement of evaporator coil&high and low pressure sensors.
o Recover refrigerant
o Disconnect evaporator coil
o Replace high pressure and low pressure sensors
o Remove evaporator coil
o Lift new evaporator coil into place
o Install new evaporator coil
o Pull vacuum to 600 microns on each circuit
o Weigh in charge per nameplate for each circuit
o Tune system to factory specifications
Furnish parts and labor to install:

Items not included in Proposal:
1. Any changes or modifications not listed in proposal,or proposed scope of work
2. All work delays out of the control of Nance International Inc.This will be billed at regular rates.
3. Repairs to any other existing HVAC equipment
4. Labor warranty on any part of the equipment that is customer supplied.
5. Lifting equipment as necessary for removal and installation
This proposal is made on the assumption that the work will be performed without unforeseen delays outside the control of Nance
International Inc. If scheduled work is halted for any reason,without cause by Nance International Inc.,we reserve the right to charge
stand-by rates at a minimum of four hours for the work according to the applicable rates.
Any additional work created by a change in scope could require a Change Order between Nance International Inc. & client prior to
commencement.
Terms,fees,and conditions are valid for 30 days from the date of this proposal
