Approve the Purchase of three (3) 13' Black Cast Iron

PROJECT: IKESIG (10) Acorn Globes. These are to repair/replace those
damaged along Lakeshore Drive.
RECOMMENDATION:
We recommend that the City Council approve a the purchase of three (3) 13 foot black cast iron
poles with 70w HPS lamps with acorn globes and ten (10) acorn globes alone for the
repair/replacement of decorative lighting along Lakeshore Drive.
BACKGROUND:
These lights sustained heavy damage during Hurricane Ike requiring replacement of three (3)
lights. and poles. We also need to purchase ten (10) acorn globes to replenish the ones used
from our stocks to replace ones that were missing. Quotes were .requested and two were
received. We are recommending that Council approve the quote received from All Phase
Electric Supply Co. in the amount of $8,300.16

Stoneburner/Verret Electric Co. $ 15,730.00
