SOKOLOW CITYATTORNEY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS Notice is hereby given of a Public Hearing of the City Council of Port Arthur, Texas to be held pursuant to Chapter 43.142 of the Local Government Code, and per Article I, Section 6, of the City Charter, in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, Fifth Floor, 444 Fourth Street, Tuesday, Apri17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. to consider disannexation of the tracts of land as denoted in Exhibit "A". A second Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers City Hall, Fifth Floor, 444 Fourth Street. (If more than twenty (20) adult residents of the azea file a written protest of this disannexation with the City Secretazy within ten (10) days after the date of publication of this notice, the second hearing shall be held in the temtory proposed for disannexation. The protest must state the name, address and age of each protestor who signs).
