ENFORCEMENT
RECOMMENDATION:
The Code Enforcement Department recommends that the City Council approve the bid
from Energy Country Ford of Port Arthur, Texas in the amount of $19,939.00 for the
purchase of one Ford Explorer.
BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 5989 amended the budget to allow Code Enforcement to purchase 2 vehicles.
We received three (3) quotes as follows for the purchase of one vehicle at this time.

Allen Samuels CDJ, Port Arthur, Texas $21,074.28
Ener Count Ford, Port Arthur, Texas $19,939.00
BUDGET/FISCAL EFFECT:
The City will use Equipment Replacement Fund Number # 625-1801-517.93-00 for the
purchase of the vehicle.
STAFF/EMPLOYEE EFFECT:
None
SUMMARY:
The Code Enforcement Department recommends that the City Council approve the bid
fro Energy Country Ford of Port Arthur, Texas in the amount of $19,939.00 for the
