A RESOLIITION APPOINTING A COMMITTEE AS IT PERTAINS TO THE HOMELESS PREVENTION PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City is applying for funds as delineated in Exhibit "A" as to assist the homeless; and WHEREAS, the City desires to appoint a committee as it pertains to facilitating this program; and WHEREAS, the City Manager is recommending that Albert Thigpen, Director of Human Resources, and Yoshi Alexander, Director of Health Department, serve on the committee together with such other citizens as are appointed by the City Council. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHIIR: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2. That the following persons are appointed to this committee: Albert Thigpen, Director of Human Resources Yoshi Alexander, Director of Health Department z.pnszoi Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council. The funds under this program are intended to target individuals and families who would be homeless but for this assistance.
