WHEREAS, pursuanu to Section 272.001(g) Local Governmenu Code, a political subdiviszon may sell, exchange or otherwise convey land for less uhan its fair market value to an entity for uhe development of iow-income or moderate-income housing; WHEREAS, Resolution No. 98-244 established the Moderate Income Homebuyers Assistance Program; WHEREAS, Resolution No. 02-213 amended the Moderate Income Homebuyers Assistance Program to provide grants of up to $5,000 for individuals to purchase lots from the City and construct housing thereon; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to convey the property delineated in Exhibit "A" to Barry Morgan Jr. & Delores M. Morgan. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2.
