I. ROLL CALL -Commissioner, Inell Moore convened the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
Commissioners present: Alma LeBlanc, Inell Moore and Fernando Ramirez
(Quorum Present).
Staff present: Ron Burton, Assistant Planning Director, Paul Brown, Sr. Planner,
and Pamela Langford, Administrative Aide.
II. Minutes - Apri16, 2009 -Public Hearing/Regular Meeting
Fernando Ramirez moved to accept the minutes of April 6, 2009 as presented;
Alma LeBlanc seconded the motion: Vote -All Yeas -- motion passed.
PUBLIC HEARING
III. R09-09 -REPEAT APPROVAL REQUEST FOR -TRACT 3-A, REPEAT OF LOTS 3-
4, BLK 3. RANGE 3, 4740 GREENWOOD STREET, OF THE TOWNSITE OF SABINE
PASS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
Mr. Ramirez moved to approve R09-09; Ms. LeBlanc seconded the motion.
Vote: All Yeas -replat approved.
IV. R09-11 -REPEAT APPROVAL REQUEST FOR -THE OFFICES AT FAIRWAY
BUSINESS PARK, A CONDOMINIUM PROJECT, 3.113 (CALLED 3.114). ACRES OF
LAND, PART OF LOTS 7 & 8, BLK. 12, RANGE "J", P.A.L.C.O. SUBDIVISION, CITY
OF PORT ARTHUR, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
Mr. Anthony Leger of Soutex Surveyors informed the Commission that the original submittal
letter may have been somewhat misleading regarding the requested site plan approval. He
stated that the original development was to establish athree-acre tract for the construction of a
business park (buildings 100 - 1100) with one story buildings. Modifications have been made to
the construction of the buildings to create additional office space.
Ms. LeBlanc moved to approve R09-11; Mr. Ramirez seconded the motion.

V. S09-02 -PRELIMINARY SITE PLAN APPROVAL REQUEST FOR - GLENDALE
ACRES SUBDIVISION, LOTS 1-4, BLOCK 1, 13TH STREET/JEFFERSON DRIVE,
PROPOSED WASHATEIA/OFFICES, CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS
Mr. Burton informed the Commission that Soutex Surveyors have met with the City of Port
Arthur's Engineering, Public Works, Water Utilities and Planning Department to ensure that all
City requirements have been met.
Mr. Ramirez moved approve S09-02; Ms. LeBlanc seconded the motion.
Vote: All Yeas -preliminary site plan approved.
VI. REPORT FROM DIRECTOR -None.
VII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS -Two cases will be presented at the May 4~ P&Z
Commission Meeting.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT - Mr. Ramirez moved to adjourn the meeting. Ms. LeBlanc
