The Port Arthur Project is
a component of the Sabine Pass to
Galveston Bay Program (S2G)
which includes project areas in the
cities of Freeport (Brazoria County),
Port Arthur (Jefferson County), and
Orange (Orange County).

Contract 1: 5,535 feet of levee raise
Contract 2: 1,075 feet of floodwall replacement; 1
railroad closure gate.
Contract 3: 5,025 feet of floodwall replacement; 60 feet
of levee raises; 7 road closures; and 1 railroad closure
gate.
Contract 3A: 7,500 feet of floodwall replacement; 21,575
feet of levee raise; protection for 5 pump stations; 1 road
closure gate.
Contract 3B: 2,800 feet of floodwall; 1 road raise; 2 road
closure gates; 3 railroad closure gates.
Contract 4: 10,100 feet of floodwall replacement; 13,300
feet of levee raises; protection for 3 pump stations.
Contract 5: 1,000 feet of floodwall replacement; 30,400
feet of levee raises; 1,830 feet of new levee; protection
for 2 pump stations; 2 road closure gates; 1 railroad
closure gate
