R~SOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION IN HONOR OF LUCIAN
(REQUESTED BY COUNCILMEMBER BOWERS)
WHEREAS,
World War II
forest raid against overwhelming enemy fire; and
WHEREAS, in this time of war, there is a need to honor
the men and women that are presently in uniform, as well as
the veterans.
Lucian Adams served with great distinction in

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble
are true and correct.
Section 2. The City honors Lucian Adams as a great and
brave man, who will be sorely missed, as we honor all our men
and women in uniform and our veterans.
Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this
Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
