RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TO CALL A PUBLIC HEARING TO RECEIVE PUBLIC
COMMENT ON THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 BUDGET
WHEREAS, pursuant to §102.006(b), the governing body shall set the hearing for a
date occurring after the 15th day after the date the proposed budget is filed with the municipal
clerk but before the date the governing body makes its tax levy.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That a public hearing to receive public comment on the proposed FY 2022-
2023 budget shall be held on , 2022 at in the City Council
Chambers, Fifth Floor, City Hall, 444 Fourth Street, Port Arthur, Texas.
Section 3. That notice of the public hearing shall be published in the official newspaper
of the City pursuant to §102.0065 of the Texas Local Government Code.
Section 4. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the
Minutes of the City Council.
