Attached is P. R. No. 15480 as it pertains to purchasing
property from Bayou Dock LTD at a cost of $28,000. The City will
be paying the closing costs. -Taxes will be prorated. The Seller
will need to pay for all liens or loans on the property. (Account
No. 301-1601-591.54-00, Project No. GO-803}.

A RESOLIITION A3 IT PERTAINS TO PIIRCHASING
PROPERTY FROM HAYOII DOCK LTD AT A COST OF
$28,000, PLIIS CLOSING COSTS (ACCOIINT NO. 301-
1601-591.54-00, PROJECT NO. GO-803)
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase an approximately .3444
acre tract, as described in Tract 1 of Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
as to build a new ground storage tank and pumping station; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to also acquire an access and
working easement for an adjacent approximately .3683 acre tract, as
described in Tract 2 of Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the property has been appraised for $28,000; and
WHEREAS, Bayou Dock Ltd. (the Seller) has agreed to accept
$28,000; and
WHEREAS, the City will pay all closing costs, taxes will be
pro-rated, and all liens or loans on the property will be paid by
the Seller.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ARTHIIR:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble
are true and correct.
Section 2. That the City Manager and the City Attorney are
herein authorized to take such action as to purchase the

approximately .3444 acre tract, as well as the adjacent access and
working easement, described in Exhibit "A" for $28,000, with the
City paying all closing costs, taxes being pro-rated, and all liens
or loans on the property being paid by the Seller, and in such
forms as to be approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution
be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
