City Council is being asked to consider a Zoning Change for approximately 1.437 acres (62,595.72 SF) of land, Tracts CA-1-A, CA-1-B, and CA-1-C, Vista Village Subdivision, City of Port
Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas
The properties are located Northeast of Terrace Avenue & Southwest of Linkwood Street.

The purpose of this request is to change the zoning from “NS” Neighborhood Services to “LDR” Low-Density Residential (Formerly known as Single-Family) for the construction of Single-Family
Homes.

The purpose of the Neighborhood Services district is to provide for retail businesses and personal services to meet the regular needs and for the convenience of adjacent residential
areas.
Proposed Zoning:
Low Density Residential (LDR)
The purpose of the Low Density Residential district is primarily for single family dwellings and related recreational and educational facilities normally required to provide an orderly
and attractive residential area. The LDR district is intended o be defined and protected from the encroachment of uses that are not appropriate in a residential environment.
