Background:
The Public Works Landfill Division is required to stay in compliance with the Texas

Generac Industrial Power of Waukesha,Wisconsin, which maintains contract number 092222-
GNR with the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract, provided a competitive quote for
a 50 kW standby generator with installation for $47,432.00. The Landfill's Equipment
Account, 403-50-320-8522-00-00-000,will fund the equipment.
Recommendation:
It is recommended that the City of Port Arthur's City Council approve PR 24191 authorizing the
City Manager to purchase a generator with installation for the Public Works Landfill Division
from Generac Industrial Power of Waukesha, Wisconsin, through the Sourcewell Cooperative
Purchasing Contract.
