Growth and Service Area Expansion
Over the past 20 to 30 years, the City
of Port Arthur has seen significant
residential growth,expanding solid
waste service areas without a
proportional increase in resources.
This has led to equipment strain and
employee fatigue.The Solid Waste
Division acknowledges the need for
strategic planning,infrastructure
investment,and staffing adjustments
to support sustainable service
delivery.
