Background Fire stations require alerting systems to communicate information during emergency and nonemergency calls for service. Fire Station 3 is under construction, representing a significant investment in our community's safety. Modernizing this facility with the installation of the PURVIS FSAS will enhance communications and ensure that personnel are automatically and instantaneously delivered incident details in a way that is designed to improve emergency response and operational efficiency. Implementing the PURVIS FSAS provides personnel the ability to respond effectively. This integration reflects our commitment to providing the highest level of protection for our firefighters and the community we serve. Budget Considerations: The cost of these requests is $240,161.10. PURVIS FSAS was budgeted and funds are available within the PAFD's new construction account for Station 3 in Project account#307-19-047-8512-00-30-000,Project No. BU0013.0TH.. No . 24247 4/22/2025 rlh Fire Station 3 with H-GAC Buy Contract EC07-23 pricing; (see quotes attached hereto as Exhibit "A") ; and WHEREAS the funds are available in the budget for the new construction of fire station 3 and can be found in PAFD Account 307-19-047-8512-00-30-000, Project BU0013 . 0TH.
