Introduction: The intent of this Agenda Item is to seek the approval of the City of Port Arthur's City Council for the PAEDC's acceptance of DataVox Quote # DVXQ31982 in the amount of$8,580.24 for the Meraki Licenses for a one(1) year renewal at The Press Building, 549 4th Street. Background: The Press Building utilizes DataVox for its business technology systems—computer,phone lines, network. The renewal of the Meraki Licenses is necessary to allow the system devices to continue to work. The press building Network is comprised of a firewall, 8 switches and 17 access points. The Meraki firewalls secure the network perimeter, while switches distribute traffic and access points provide wireless connectivity, all managed centrally through the Meraki Dashboard. The device's functionality is tied to the ability of the system to reach the cloud where the serial number confirms we have an active license and can access the dashboard of the systems. Budgetary Impact: The budgetary impact of this item is an annual cost not to exceed$8,580.24, funding available in EDC Account No. 120-80-625-5450-00-00-000 I Project No. ED0002.OTH.CMP I Computer Programs.
