Renovated or constructed over 100 homes
Provided eviction aversion to 450 tenants
Provides rental assistance to 40 tenants
Housed 15 families living with HIV/AIDS
Provided homeless prevention services to over 400 families
Developing regional homeless non-congregate shelter
Renovated the homes of 100 seniors in Jefferson County

The cost of development
Legacy CDC is seeking a developer participation agreement with the City of Port Arthur for the installation of infrastructure (water, sewer, drainage & streets) at Gifford Pond.
The estimated total cost is $850,000
City Participation is $255,000 (30%)

Construction- $6 million (24 homes @avg $250,000

Eligible participants will receive Homebuyer Certification at no cost
Participants may qualify for up to $70,000 in down payment assistance
