RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION INSTRUCTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
PREPARE AND DEVELOP A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
FOR THE STUDY, DESIGN, PERMITTING, CONSTRUCTION
AND OPERATIONS OF THE REMAINING CITY LANDFILL
(REQUESTED BY COUNCILMEMBER FRANK)
WHEREAS, on January 27, 2026, the City Council made a motion out of executive
session to instruct the City Manager to place an item on the next City Council Agenda to prepare
and develop a Request for Qualifications for the Study, Design, Permitting, Construction and
Operations of the remaining City landfill.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ARTHUR,TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions are true and correct.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby instructs the City Manager to prepare and
develop a Request for Qualifications for the Study, Design, Permitting, Construction and
Operations of the remaining City landfill.
Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of
the City Council.
READ, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, this day of February, 2026 at a
Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Port Arthur, Texas by the following Vote:
