RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REJECT
ALL BIDS FOR PURCHASE OF PICKUPS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT
(BID NUMBER 26-009).
WHEREAS, on January 5, 2026, the Purchasing Department advertised for bids for the
purchase of pickups for the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on January 21, 2026 (Exhibit `'A"); and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division requests the authorization to reject all bids and
provide an updated master equity lease agreement for the fire department vehicles/pickup trucks.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1: THAT the facts and opinions of the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2: THAT, the City Council hereby rejects all bids for the purchase of pickups
for the Fire Department under Bid Number P26-009.
Section 3: THAT a copy of the caption and Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of
the City Council.
