Background: The Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation reviewed quotes received from qualified local vendors for the renaming and refurbishment of signage at the Port Arthur Business Park. After careful consideration,the PAEDC finds and determines that Image 360 of Beaumont,Texas has provided a proposal that meets the needs and expectations set forth by the PAEDC Board of Directors. The PAEDC Board is committed to enhancing the visibility and branding of the Business Park while ensuring quality and value. Budgetary Impact: The budgetary impact of this item will be $55.090: funds available in PAEDC Account No. 120-80- 625-5322-00-00-000. Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve the Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation's acceptance of Quote#E-20218 from Image 360 for the refurbishment and renaming of the monument signs at the Port Arthur Business Park. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PORT ARTHUR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO ACCEPT A QUOTE FROM IMAGE 360 OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS FOR THE SPUR 93 BUSINESS PARK MONUMENT SIGN REFURBISHMENT AND RENAMING IN A ONE-TIME AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $55,090; FUNDS AVAILABLE IN PAEDC ACCOUNT NO. 120-80-625-5322-00-00-000 (OTHER MAINTENANCE) WHEREAS, the Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation ("PAEDC") owns and maintains the Spur 93 Business Park, a key industrial and commercial asset supporting economic development and job creation within the City of Port Arthur; and WHEREAS, at its regular Board meeting held on February 2, 2026, the PAEDC Board of Directors voted to rename the Spur 93 Business Park from "Port Arthur Business Park" to the "Floyd Batiste Port Arthur Business Park"in honor of Mr. Floyd Batiste's 17 years of service as Chief Executive Officer and his lasting contributions to economic development in the Port Arthur community; and WHEREAS,the PAEDC seeks to refurbish and update two(2)existing monument signs located at the Spur 93 Business Park to reflect the new name and improve the overall appearance and branding of the site; and WHEREAS,PAEDC received quotes from qualified local companies for the refurbishment and renaming of the monument signs at the Spur 93 Business Park, and such quotes are attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes as Exhibit"A"; and WHEREAS,at its regular Board meeting held on April 6, 2026,the PAEDC Board of Directors selected and approved the design and proposal submitted by Image 360 of Beaumont, Texas, as outlined in Exhibit"B", in a total amount not to exceed $55,090; and WHEREAS, funds are available in the PAEDC FY 2025-2026 budget under Account No. 120- 80-625-5322-00-00-000 (Other Maintenance). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR,TEXAS: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2. That PAEDC is hereby authorized to accept a quote from Image 360 of Beaumont, Texas for the renaming and refurbishment of two monument signs at the Spur 93 Business Park in an amount not to exceed $55,090, as outlined in Exhibit "A", and consistent with the design reflected in Exhibit "B", with funds available in PAEDC Account No. 120-80-625-5322-00-00-000 (Other Maintenance). Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution shall be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
