A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND/OR REAPPOINTING A
MEMBER OR MEMBERS TO THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMISSION
(REQUESTED BY COUNCILMEMBER PENA)
WHEREAS, the Port Arthur Beautification Commission was created by Ordinance
No. 98-01 on January 13, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the term of office is two years; and
WHEREAS, the following persons are the current appointees for the
Beautification Commission:

WHEREAS, Councilmember Pena wishes to remove Sharon LaBove and Lynn
Jackson and appoint Elaina Gonzales and Martha Lara Cruz as appointees for District 3
to the Beautification Commission.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That this resolution will document said appointment for the purpose
of the public record, and verify that the following persons are the appointees to the
Beautification Commission:
