RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND/OR REAPPOINTING A
MEMBER OR MEMBERS TO THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMISSION
(REQUESTED BY COUNCILMEMBER JACOBS, AND
COUNCILMEMBER GETWOOD)
WHEREAS, the Port Arthur Beautification Commission was created by Ordinance
No. 98-01 on January 13, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the term of office is two years; and
WHEREAS, the following persons are the current appointees for the
Beautification Commission:

WHEREAS, Councilmember Getwood wishes to remove Gloria Casmire as her
term expired on July 30, 2026, and wishes to appoint Patricia A. Green as an appointee
for District 1 to the Beautification Commission; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Jacobs wishes to appoint Brenda Baker as an
appointee for District 4 to the Beautification Commission.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That this resolution will document said appointment for the purpose
of the public record, and verify that the following person(s) are the appointee(s) to the
Beautification Commission:
