MEETING OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR CHARTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Notice is hereby given that the Charter Advisory Committee will hold a meeting in Port
Arthur, Texas, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the City of Port Arthur
Development Services Building, Flex Room,300 4th St., Port Arthur, Texas 77640.
AGENDA
1. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Establishment of quorum and call to order.
3. Welcoming remarks, Mayor Charlotte Moses.
4. Introduction of appointed City Charter Advisory Committee Members.
5. Presentation on the City Charter for the City of Port Arthur.
6. Presentation and discussion regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Charter Advisory
Committee.
7. Discussion regarding Charter Advisory Committee meeting dates and times.
8. Discussion regarding the process for submitting and considering proposed Charter
amendments and recommendations.
9. Discussion and action to nominate and appoint a chair and vice-chair for the City Charter
Advisory Committee.
10. Adjournment.
