A RESOLIITION AIITHORIZING THE ACCCEPTANCE OF
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1919 AIISTIN AVENO'S
WHEREAS, the Executor of the Estate of Elroy James, Deceased,
wishes to donate .the property located at 1919 Austin Avenue to the
'City of Port Arthur as denoted in Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Port
Arthur .that the City accept the donation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVBD BY THE CITY COIINCZL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ARTHIIR, TEAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are
true and correct.
Section 2. That the City Manager is herein authorized to
accept the donation from the Estate of Elroy James, Deceased,' of
the property at 1919 Austin Avenue in substantially the same form
as attached hereto as Exhibit "B"
Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution
be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.

Elroy James, Deceased, Port Arthur, County of Jefferson,
State of Texas, for and in consideration of-the sum. of TEN
AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and valuable
consideration to me, paid by the grantees herein named, the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED, SOLD
AND CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL AND
CONVEY unto the City of Port Arthur, County of Jefferson,
State of Texas, the following described real property in
Jefferson County, Texas, to-wit:
Lots Numbered Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block
Number Four Hundred Fifty-One (451) of. City of Port
Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas, as the same appears
upon the 'map or plat thereof, on file and of record in
the office of the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas (1919 Austin Avenue).
This Deed is executed, delivered and accepted subject
to ad valorem taxes for the current and all subsequent
years; taxes for subsequent assessments for the current and
prior years due to changes inland usage, ownership, or
both; all statutes, zoning laws, ordinances, rules and
regulations of municipal and. and/or other governmental
