We recommend that the City Council approve track repairs to Equipment no.1628 for a total cost of
$28,559 with 11~9~.c.~stang Cat of Beaumont, Texas. Funding; is available in account number 403-1274-533.43.00.
BACkGROUNI:)
E~iaipment number l 628 is a 2005 model Caterpi]~ler D7R bulldozer. It has incurred $118,770 in repairs
to date. This mr~.chine is due for a track overhaul due to normal wear. It is recommended that this equipment be
repaired at this time to prevent damage to the final drive and unwarranted downtime. The repairs are estimated
io be coml~~l~~ted within 10 working days. Mustang Cat is the only factory authorized repair center in the area.
