1. INVOCATION, PLEDGE & ROLL CALL
Councilmember Henderson gave the invocation followed with the pledge to the flag.
The City Coundl of the City of Port Arthur met in Spedal Session on Monday, August
30, 2010 at 2:07 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, with the following
members present Mayor Deloris "Bobbie" Prime; Mayor Pro Tem Morris AIbrigt ; III;
Coundlmembers Elizabeth " Uz" Segier, Sohn Beard, Jr. and Thomas 3. "Tom"
Henderson; City Manager Steve Fitzgibbons ; ; Acting City Secretary Sherri Bellard and
City Attorney Valeda Tizeno.
Councilmember Robert E. "Bob" Williamson Wined the Special Meeting at 2 :11 p.m.
Councilmember Jack Chatman, Jr. was absent from the Spedal Meeting.
Councilmember Martin Flood was absent from the Speed Meeting.
Councilmember Dawana K. Wise was absent from the Spedal Meeting.
11. A Dlscuseion Regarding The City Of Pert Arthur 2010 -2011
Budget
The City Council recessed their meeting at 2:10 p.m. and reconvened their meeting at
2:23 p.m. with the following members present Mayor Prince; Mayor Pro Tem Albright;
Coundlmembers Segier, Beard, Williamson and Henderson; City Manager Fitzgibbons;
Acting City Secretary Bellard and City Attorney Tizeno.
City Manager Steve Fitzgibbons and Assistant City Manager /Adminiions Rebecca
Underhill appeared before the City Council to lead the demon rtrding the Port
Arthur 2010 -2011 budget.
Councilmember Henderson left the Spedal Meeting at 3:39 p.m.
III. AD3OURNMENF OF MEETING
Upon the motion by Councilmember Seger, seconded by Coundimernber Williamson
and carried unanimously, the qty Council adjourned their Spedal Meeting at 3:42 p.m.
An audio -tape of this meeting is on file in the office of the City Secretary and is made a
part of the official minutes of this meeting.
