BACKGROUND:
The Planning and Zoning Commission is being asked to consider a replat request for part of
Tract 6-A and all of Tract 8-A to produce one tract to become Tract 8-A (4313 Kylewood
Court), Lake Arthur Village Subdivision, City of Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas. The
acreage is 0.3458 and the property is located south ofJimmyJohnson Boulevard [A.K.A. 75tn
Street] and east of Lake Arthur Drive. The zoning is "SF" for Single-Family housing. The
property is being used for the construction of a game room and swimming pool for the
residence located at 4313 Kylewood Court.
Notices were sent out in compliance with the Texas Local Government Code Section 212.
On Monday, November 8, 2010, seventeen (17) notices were mailed to adjacent property
owners within a 200 ft. radius. The publication was done in the Port Arthur News on
Sunday, October 31, 2010, fifteen (15) days prior to the public hearing.

RECOMMEIVDATION:
The planning staff has no objections to this replat request. The plats will be filed with the
County Clerk's office with the appropriate block and subdivision information, as provided
by Access Surveyors.
