NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR
Notice in accordance with Article VI of the Code of Ordinances of the City of l~ort
Arthur and Section 272.001, Local Government Code, as amended, is hereby given that
the City Council of the City of Port Arthur, Texas will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,
Octcber 12, 2004 at 9:00 am at the Port Arthur City Hall Council Chambers, Fifth Floor,
444 4th Street to consider the proposed abandonment of the following easement and right-
of-way.
THAT PORTION OF 8TM STREET BETWEEN
MARSHALL AND DEQUEEN BOULEVARD
AND ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS BETWEEN
7TM AND 9TM STREETS AND MARSHALL AND
DEQUEEN BOULEVARD

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A ZONING CHANGE
Precise drawings and descriptions of the proposed abandonment will be presented at the
public hearing and can be examined in the Planning Department, City Hall, Port Arthur,
Texas.
