Box 1089 Port Arthur, TX 77641-1089 Dear Mr. Broussard, My name is JeffMatkin, I am the owner of GEFFS Manufacturing. David Pristupa has been in communication with you in regards to trading your Big Machine for a smaller LM 420. Dave's visits have provided us with better insight as to your actual needs. We believe that we can better serve P6rt Arthur by matching a machine to your use. The smaller chipper that fits the bill would be our model with an expandable 10 fi to 17 ~A fi front hopper: 225 liP engine; 6 speed transmission: rear wheel drive. This is similar to what your operators are used to, just with new technologies. There are less moving parts, less hydraulics and simple to operate. GEFFS is here to help and we want what is best for Port Arthur. With costs escalating over the past 24 months the cost for your Big machine is now what the smaller machines cost therefore it would be a good time to trade. The warranty would be 2 years and we will pay the shipping both ways. Dave will come down and do the training. There will be no costs to Port Arthur. In the long run, you will, I'm sure see the benefits. Our delivery right now is 120 to 180 days. If you decide to stay with the Big machine we will be here to support your needs. This is simply an option for Port Arthur. Please let me know your thoughts. Je~fery LMat¥~ P.R. 13288 09/21/05 reb RESOLUT1'ON NO.
