A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SUNGARD PUBLIC SECTOR TO CONVERT DEMOLITION RECORDS FOR USE IN THE NEW NAVILINE COMPUTER SYSTEM IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $24,000. FUNDING IS AVAILABLE IN ACCOUNT NUMBER C35121 105 - 1431 - 552.57 -00 WHEREAS, the City of Port Arthur request authorization to enter into an agreement with Sungard Public Sector to convert and transfer old demolition files to the Naviline computer system for the Code Enforcement Demolition Division; and WHEREAS, the conversion will reformat the old demolition data and move all pertinent historical records relating to the date the property was tagged and all notification information to our new NaviLine computer system; and WHEREAS, this conversion will allow the demolition division to track the structures tagged since 2008, which are located in a separate demolition program; and WHEREAS, the conversion will allow the City to suspend use of the old AS400 system and save on maintenance cost; and WHEREAS, the conversion process will be performed at an estimated cost of $24,000. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR: Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the System Change Request Form from Sungard Public Sector, in substantially the same form as attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council. P.R. 16797 11/23/11 L.B. Scope of work: 1. Use the following data files from SSDTALIB library in ATLICST2 asp box as input: a. SSDO1P — transaction table b. SSDO2P — violation reports c. SSDO3P — work program requirements d. SSMO 1 P — master table e. SSTO1P — basic codes file f. SSTO5P — vendors table 2. Populate the following in NaviLine Code Enforcement: a. Case Master b. Names for Notices c. Case Data — up to 10 fields of case data code information d. Case Action e. Inspections and Inspections Text f. Violations 3. The physical address information from the master table will be used to get the matching location id in NaviLine LX. A dummy location record will be used if no matching address is found. INSTRUCTIONS: 1) This document must be signed and returned within 30 days of receipt. This quotation is only valid for 30 days. Unreturned and unsigned SCR's will automatically be cancelled after 30 days. 2) Return a faxed, signed copy to SunGard (407- 304 - 1025). 3) Maintain a copy for your records. 4) Upon receipt of the fax, it will be processed through the SunGard Accounting Department for invoicing. INFORMATION 5) On site installation and training is not included in cost unless specified above. 6) If your organization has a modification maintenance agreement (Currently $100.00 /modified object and is subject to change), this modification will become part of the plan. If you do not have an agreement, you are responsible for the cost to retrofit this mod into new releases. INVOICE - • For billing inquiries regarding this SCR, please use the number located at the top right of this form. • Please remit 50% of the total cost to SunGard's Accounting Department referencing this SCR #. Programming will not begin until the 50% payment is received. • The second 50% will be invoiced upon completion of the project. • Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. This work will be based on the current version and may require that the client load this version as part of the SCR.
