Port Arthur, TX 77642 409 - 300 -4118 To Chief Mark Blanton, This letter is to inform you that I am donating a Labrador retriever that has been trained in the detection of illegal narcotics to the Port Arthur Police Department. K9 Nitro has been trained to detect the odors of Marijuana, Heroin, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine. K9 Nitro is being donated on behalf of my company, Lone Star K9, at no charge to the City of Port Arthur. K9 Nitro is valued at $5000.00, with the amount of training he has received. Because we are about to retire K9 Millie it is essential to utilize K9 Nitro to further deter illegal drug activities in our city. He will be an invaluable addition to the Port Arthur Police Department. Respectfully, Kris Boneau 1
