RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FINANCE
COMMITTEE OF CITY COUNCIL (REQUESTED BY
COUNCILMEMBER ALBRIGHT)
WHEREAS, In order to facilitate communication and gain a better understanding of the City's
finances relating to all operations of the City, including but not limited to, revenues, budget, audit and
grants, the City Council desires to appoint a Finance Committee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT ARTHUR:
Section 1. The facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That the Finance Committee of the City of Port Arthur will be comprised of the
following members of Council:
Mayor Deloris Prince
Mayor Pro Tem Harold Doucet
Councilmember Morris Albright III
Section 3. That the following staff members will be on the committee:
City Manager
Finance Director
READ, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, this day of May, 2012, AD, at a Regular Meeting
of the City Council of the City of Port Arthur, Texas by the following vote:
