DATE: 4/30/2012 BACKGROUND: The Planning and Zoning Commission is being asked to consider an amended preliminary plat for the Williamson Industrial Park, Phase I. The site is located north of F.M. Highway 365 and east of Davis Street. This subdivision is located in an Industrial (1) zoned district. On May 7, 2012, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Preliminary Plat No. R12 -01 was approved for the development of "raw" land into ten (10) industrial Lots. At the owner(s) request, this amendment is being submitted to add additional acreage and lots to this development. Owner - Jimmie Williamson Engineer /Surveyor - Soutex Surveyors, Inc. RECOMMENDATION: The planning staff has no objections to this request. A final plat cannot be submitted until all street, drainage, water and sewer improvements must be accepted for maintenance by the City before a final plat can be submitted. BUDGETARY /FISCAL EFFECT: None STAFFING /EMPLOYEE EFFECT: None SUMMARY: The amended preliminary plat should be approved as submitted. SELECTION OF OFFICERS Upon the motion made by Commissioner Ramirez, seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried unanimously, the Planning Commission tabled the vote to select officers until February 4, 2013.
