A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR
SECTION 4A ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO
PURCHASE INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) SECURITY CAMERAS
FROM TRIANGLE FIRE AND SECURITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS
FOR THE 39 STREET OFFICE BUILDING IN THE AMOUNT OF
$7,421.
WHEREAS, on April 2, 2013, the City of Port Arthur Section 4A Economic Development
Corporation (the "PAEDC ") Board of Directors approved a quote to purchase and install security
cameras for the PAEDC office building; and
WHEREAS, PAEDC approved the quote of Triangle Fire and Security at the cost of $7,421,
which includes a warranty as shown in Exhibit "A "; and
WHEREAS, the quality of the cameras are Internet Protocol (IP) compatible and installation
is expected to take approximately one week.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That the PAEDC is herein authorized to purchase the security cameras from
Triangle Fire & Security of Beaumont, Texas, in the amount of $7,421 as shown in Exhibit "B ".
Section 3. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the
City Council.
